The ceremony of Pre-Thingyan Festival (2024) was held in front of the Minister’s Office this afternoon and catudisa was offered to the officers and staff who are serving in the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw; first, H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union said that Thingyan Festival is a cornerstone of Myanmar culture and representing the cleansing of past impurities by splashing fresh water to bring freshness and coolness to people; she wishes the staff and officers to have a happy and healthy Myanmar New Year and to carry out their duties for country and family with a refreshing mind; she also wishes all the people in the world and Myanmar citizens to be free from dangers and to be happy and healthy.
And then, Dr. Htain Lin Oo, the Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General, and Directors General from the Minister’s Office and Departments said their New Year wishes, respectively.
After that, the group led by the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union participated in offering catudisa to the officers and staff of the Ministry, enjoyed performances by ten Thingyan-dancer team and sixteen Thingyan-dancer team with Thingyan-songs and presented rewards.
Directors General from the Minister’s Office and Departments, Deputy Directors General, Directors and officers and staff also attended the ceremony and which was successfully concluded in the evening.
