H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, Attorney General of the Union, attended the closing ceremony of Refresher Course No.29 for law officer grade-3 held at the ground floor meeting hall of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 10:00 am this morning and addressed the closing speech.
In the closing remark, the Attorney General of the Union instructed that law officers must abide by laws, rules and regulations and ethics, endeavour to become good law officers with good morality and external features; necessary to know the existing laws and procedures thoroughly; need to stand for truth and justice in conducting cases, emphasise not only to plaintiff s grievance according to the law but also to enjoy legal rights of the accused; we can get public confidence only if we are free from corruption, have good morality and high capacity in work. Then the best 3 trainees and the best trainee group for research paper were awarded prizes.
Permanent Secretary, Directors General, Deputy Directors General, Directors and 28 trainees attended the ceremony. The training lasted 30 days.
