The Attorney General of the Union H.E. U Tun Tun Oo received Ambassador of the Netherlands H.E. Mr. Wouster Jurgens in the meeting hall of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 10:30 am this morning.
In the meeting, they discussed the matters related to implementation of rule of law processes which are fundamental in transition to democracy, improvement of legal framework to protect investments, enhancement of human rights protection , increasing the role of news and media sector, cooperation between jurists of the two countries and experiences exchange, sending scholars and further cooperation works.
The Deputy Attorney General U Win Myint, Permanent Secretary Daw Nu Nu Yin and Director Dr. Kyi Kyi Than Aung attended this meeting.
