U Win Myint, Deputy Attorney General, received Director Mr. Henrik Lange Auditor General Office, Denmark and his delegation at the meeting hall of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 14:30 p.m. today.
During the meeting, the Deputy Attorney General discussed that memorandum of understanding between Union Attorney General’s Office and Denmark Embassy was signed on 1.12.2016 for four years for strengthening Rule of Law and human rights protection; implementing for plans year by year; making legal research on legal affairs after forming the legal research team; training and workshops on legislative drafting, practice of ethics for the law officers and fair trial standards and implementation of human rights conventions signed by Myanmar were conducted; and then Director Mr.Henrik Lange and his delegation from Auditor General Office, Denmark asked and discussed the advantages, disadvantages and effectiveness of the cooperation between Denmark and Myanmar, and to compile an assessment report.
Permanent Secretary Daw Nu Nu Yin and Dirctor General Dr.Thida Oo also attended this meeting.
