September 6th, Nay Pyi Taw
The final coordination meeting on the Law Amending the Printing and Publishing Enterprise was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Legal Affairs at 10 a.m. on September 6th 2022, and H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister and Union Attorney General, U San Lwin, the Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General, Dr. Thida San, the Director General of the Legislative Vetting Department, the team led by the Deputy Director General Daw Aye Win, as well as the team led by U Aye Kywe, the Director General from the Ministry of Information, the Director U Kyaw Htay and the Assistant Director U Aung Zaw Myo attended the meeting. In the meeting, they discussed whether the Printing and Publishing Enterprise law needed to be amended currently or not, and the attendees decided what sections of the law needed to be amended as it was found that the necessary provisions needed to be added to the law.
