The closing ceremony of legal advocacy training Course No.(2) for the heads of the service personnel organizations was held at the ground floor meeting room of the Ministry of Legal Affairs this morning.
At the closing ceremony, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union H.E. Dr. Thida Oo said that this course was opened under the guidance of the Chairman of the State Administration Council to raise legal awareness and award the Certificate of Legal Advocacy (CLA) to the heads of service personnel organizations; the course was attended by 35 trainees, including Directors General and Deputy Directors General from each Ministry; the Ministry of Legal Affairs is providing legal services such as providing legal awareness training, publishing law books, conducting legal research and reading research papers, and developing the legal information system; the departments of Ministry of Legal Affairs, subjects of Constitutional Law, International and ASEAN Law, scrutiny of Commercial Contracts, giving general legal advice, Criminal and Special laws, and Civil Law were addressed in the course and these subjects were useful for trainees; the course trainers were legal experts including chairman and members of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, the Region or State Advocates General, Directors General who are well-experienced in the legal field and are still in service; she was very glad to hear that all trainees gained legal knowledge from the course according to their feedback; the requirements of training will be analysed and fulfilled and the Ministry of Legal Affairs will provide effective upcoming training based on the feedback of the trainees; and the report of this course will be submitted to the State Administration Council and the records will be kept in the Ministry of Legal Affairs.
The Union Minister, members of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, members of the Union Civil Service Board, course trainers, the respective officials and Directors General, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Deputy Directors General, Deputy Rectors as trainees attended the closing ceremony of the training.
