The celebration of the second anniversary of the Ministry of Legal Affairs was held at the ground floor meeting hall of the Ministry of Legal Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw at 10:00 am here this morning.
In the celebration, firstly, H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union of the Ministry of Legal Affairs, H.E. Dr. Htain Lin Oo, the Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General of the Ministry of Legal Affairs, the Director General of the Minister’s Office and the Directors General of the Departments delivered the welcome speech for the celebration of the anniversary of the Ministry. In the speech delivered by the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, she said that “Wishing you all an abundance of happiness, health, wealth and prosperity for all officers and staff attending the celebration of the anniversary of the Ministry and all officers and staff at the different levels of law offices holding the celebration of the anniversary of the Ministry on the same day,” according to the guidance of the Chairman of the State Administration Council, on 30.8.2021, the Union Attorney General’s Office was re-formed as the Ministry of Legal Affairs with 5 departments for the effective implementation of Rule of Law and justice sector coordination, and she said the special thanks to all officers and staff at the Office of the Advocate General of the Region/State and the different levels of law offices across the nation for achieving the successful results although there are difficulties and challenges.
As such, the video records for 2 years’ activities of the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Office of the Advocate General of the Region/State and the different levels of law offices were watched. After that, for a total of 547 officers and staff serving in the Ministry of Legal Affairs, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union presented the office uniforms for women to a representative, the Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General also presented 4the office uniforms for men to a representative and organized a lucky draw event.
