Holding the Coordination Meeting on the Law Amending the Child Rights Law (Draft)

The Coordination Meeting on the Law Amending the Child Rights Law (Draft) was held at the Meeting Hall of the Ministry of Legal Affairs at 10:00 a.m. this morning.

The Union Minister of the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Attorney General of the Union H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Deputy Attorney General H.E. Dr. Htein Linn Oo, Director General Dr. Thida San and the persons concerned, and the persons concerned from the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement attended the Meeting. The Child Rights Law was enacted by Pyidaungsu Htuttaw Law No. 22 on July 23, 2019.

Finalizing the Discussion

In the meeting, the Law amending the Child Rights Law (Draft) was scrutinized and discussed for finalization in accordance with the guidance of the State Administration Council; this amending Law should be enacted and the necessary sections to be amended in the Law were finally discussed as the necessary facts to align with the current situation were found.
