Union Attorney General’s Office and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) discuss the Establishment of Myanmar Law Information System

             The authorities from the Ministry of Government Legislation of the Republic of Korea and KOICA held a meeting related to the establishment of Myanmar Law Information System to be jointly implemented by the Union Attorney General’s Office and KOICA at the meeting hall of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 1:00 p.m here this afternoon.

             At the meeting, the authority from the side of KOICA explained the process for the Myanmar Law Information System of the Union Attorney General’s Office implemented on 1 June 2017.
The establishment of Myanmar Law Information System will be accomplished in May 2018. The Union Attorney General’s Office and KOICA are cooperating to implement this system to support the rule of law. After launching this system, the public can easily search the existing laws and rules of the respective Ministries or the laws information via website and mobile.
In this meeting, H.E. U Win Myint, Deputy Attorney General, Daw Nu Nu Yin, Permanent Secretary, Directors General, Deputy Directors General, Directors and members from Steering Committee of the establishment of Myanmar Law Information System are also attended.
