Holding the Closing Ceremony of the Legal Advocacy Training Course No. 4 for the Heads of Civil Service Organizations

The closing ceremony of the Legal Advocacy Training Course No.4 for the heads of civil service organizations was held at the ground floor meeting hall at the Ministry of Legal Affairs this morning.

At the closing ceremony, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union H.E. Dr. Thida Oo addressed that this training was opened under the guidance of the Chairman of the State Administration Council in order to carry out legal advocacy tasks and to provide the Certificate of Legal Advocacy for the heads of civil service organizations; a total of 124 heads of civil service organizations had successfully completed the Legal Advocacy course, including this training session; in the training, the lecture included the formation of the departments of the Ministry of Legal Affairs, constitutional subject, international and ASEAN subject, vetting commercial contracts subject, legislative drafting subject, general legal advice subject, practical application of criminal law and special laws subject, civil law subject were addressed, and these subjects are practically useful for the trainees;

the lecturers were experienced in the field of law and have expertise in relevant subjects; they included the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General, Union Minister for the Ministry of the State Administration Council Chairman’s Office (1) U Ko Ko Hlaing, U Khin Maung Oo and U Kyaw San, members of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, Justice U Tin Hone, U Sit Aye, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission and member U Aung Myint Lwin, U San Myint, member of the Union Civil Service Board, Police Lieutenant Colonel Myint Soe from the Financiel Intelligence Unit, U Kyaw Sein, experts in Legislative Drafting, retired from the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Advocate General of the Sagaing Region, Ayeyarwady Region, Tanintharyi Region and Rakhine State and subject-matters experts from the Ministry of Legal Affairs who are practicing in the legal field;

she is proud to know that this course has gained a lot of legal knowledge and that it is beneficial for the trainees; the reports of this training will be submitted to the Chairman of the State Administration Council and records will be maintained at the Ministry of Legal Affairs; she urged all the trainees to carry out the benefit of the State and their Ministries by practically applying the knowledge gained from the course in their workplace.

At the closing ceremony, Certificates of Legal Advocacy were awarded to 26 trainees, and Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General, U Khin Maung Oo and U Kyaw San, members of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, Lecturers, respective officials and trainees who are Directors General, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Deputy Directors General, Pro-rector and experts attended the ceremony.
