The ceremony of providing subsidies to the officers and staff of the Ministry of Legal Affairs was held at the Temporary Office of the Ministry of Legal Affairs. A total of 565 officers and staff received assistance, with each individual granted 50,000 kyats to support their families and enable participation in charitable activities during the period of Mahar Thingyan Festival for the year 1386-1387 M.E.
H.E. Dr. Thidar Oo, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, provided subsidies, including monetary aid, six measures of rice, dried fish, and essential medicines for staff families, to the Directors General from the Minister’s Office, Dopartment l, and Department 2. Concurrently, the Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General, Dr.Htain Lin Oo, provided subsidies to the Directors General from the Department 3 and Department 4, respectively.
During the ceremony, H.E. Dr. Thidar Oo, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among staff families in fulfilling their duties. She also highlighted the need for continued support and care in the aftermath of recent earthquake damage. Additionally, she mentioned the timely arrangement of healthcare and shelter for staff residing in temporary rescue camps before the onset of the monsoon season and inspected the temporary rescue camp to assess preparedness efforts.
