H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, accompanying with Directors General and responsible persons provided relief supplies and gave words of encouragement to staffs and their dependent family members from various levels of law offices within the Mandalay and Sagaing Region effected by earthquake on the date of 10 April 2025 at Advocate General’s Office of Mandalay Region.
At first, H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, said that there were damages to residential houses and buildings within Union territory Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay Region and Sagaing Region caused by the earthquake on the date of 28 March 2025 and also caused damages and losses incurred to our various levels of law offices, staff housing and residential housing; it has been providing relief for losses as soon as possible according to the assessment of damages and losses caused by the earthquake; at this moment, it has been providing relief supplies to immediate relief for staff and their family members from earthquake effected various levels of law offices within the Mandalay Region and Sagaing Region; she urged to temporarily set aside concerns, fears, and anxieties and work together to restore our energy and strength; and gave words of encouragement to ensure that our office functions will be successful and effective by cooperating in this manner.
After that, H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, provided 100 Disaster kid Boxes, 200 insecticide treated mosquito nets, rice, edible oil, and cartons of chicken eggs and instant noodles provided by donors for ensuring immediate needs for livelihood of staff and their family members from various levels of laws offices within Mandalay Region and Sagaing Region.
Then, H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, gave words of encouragement to staffs and their family members after inspecting of effected offices, housing damaged and losses incurred by the earthquake, and gave instruction the responsible persons to reach shelter from rain and wind as quickly as possible.
