Holding Ceremony of the Fourth Anniversary of the Ministry of Legal Affairs

The Ceremony of the fourth upcoming anniversary of the Ministry of Legal Affairs on 30 August 2025 was held at the ground floor meeting hall of the Ministry of Legal Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw at 10:00 a.m. this morning. The Union Attorney General’s Office was reorganized as the Ministry of Legal Affairs on 30 August 2021 under the Order No. 176/2021 of the State Administration Council and this reorganization has become a significant achievement during the tenure of the State Administration Council by opening the new chapter in the legal sector.

At the ceremony, firstly, H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, said that “wishing you all officers and staff of the Ministry and different levels of law offices in an abundance of happiness, health, wealth and prosperity, and she was also glad to hold the fourth pre anniversary of the Ministry of Legal Affairs together with the officers and staff of this Ministry and Region / State Advocate’s General offices on the same day; she was proud of successful achievement in the fulfillment of the responsibilities of the law officers and staff from the Ministry and the different levels of law offices; she urged that law officers and staff have to implement unanimously the mission and vision of the Ministry, and they have to behave in accordance with the motto of the Ministry; and she addressed that better results will be achieved than this year in upcoming years.

Then, the video records of the activities in the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Region/State Advocate’s General offices and the different levels of law offices were watched. Afterwards, the staff from the Ministry performed with the dance and the 550 officers and staff serving in the respective departments of the Ministry organized lucky draw events. Finally, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union and heads of the departments had lunch together with officers and staff from the Ministry.
