April, Nay Pyi Taw

The Satuditha ( Charity Feast) and Festive Celebration before Maha Thingyan in 2026 (1388 M.E.) participated in by the officers and staff serving at the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw, was held in front of the Ministry of Legal Affairs this afternoon. Firstly, H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union delivered a New Year message that Maha Thingyan festival is a cornerstone of Myanmar culture, and that the tradition of splashing water symbolizes the cleansing of impurities from the old year, she expressed her wishes for happiness and good health in the New Year to all people around the world and Myanmar citizens, and with the hope they will fulfill their national and family responsibilities with renewed spirit and strength.
And then, Dr. Htain Lin Oo, the Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General, the Permanent Secretary of the Minister’s office and Directors General of the respective Departments also delivered the New Year message and wishes.
After that, the group headed by the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union joined the officers and staff of the Ministry of Legal Affairs at the satuditha ( charity feast), applauded Thingyan songs and the entertainment performed by a troupe of 10 dancers and a troupe of 16 dancers and presented cash rewards to singers and dancers.
The Permanent Secretary of the Minister’s Office, Directors General, Deputy Directors General, Directors, officers and staff attended the ceremony, and this ceremony is successfully concluded in the evening.
