Holding of the Ceremonies for Listening to Protective Paribas and Releasing Fish by Stafl Families of the Ninistry of Legal Aflairs, on the First Day of the Myanmar New Year, 1388 N.E.

The ceremony for the families of officers and staff serving at the Ministry of Legal Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw to Listen to Protective Parittas was held in front of the office building at 15:00 p.m. Initially, the Unio« Minister and Attorney General of the Union H.E. Dr.Thida Oo, the Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General Dr.Htain Lin 0o, the Permanent Secretary of the Idinister’s Office, and Directors General, Deputy Directors General and Directors from the Departments received the Five Precepts from the invited venerable monks. Subsequently, the monks delivered protective Parittas and recited kammavaca.

Afterwards, the congregation, led by the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union offered offertories and alms respectively to the invited venerable monks. After the pouring of water for sharing merits, the attendees recited “Buddha Sasanam Ciram Tltthatu” three times and paid homage to the Buddha, and the ceremony for Listening to Protective Parittas concluded. Following the event, over 1,500 fingerlings were released into the dam in front of the office as a life-saving meritorious act (Zivita Dana) according to the agenda.
