The Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, together with the responsible officials from the Ministry of Legal Affairs, observed the Mock Trial of On-the-Job Training Cours No. 1/2026 for Law Officer Grade-4 (Probation) held in the Legal Advocacy Center this morning.
Then, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union stated that the Ministry of Legal Affairs is conducting on-the-job training for selected and appointed Law Officers (Probation) in accordance with the Attorney General of the Union Law and Rules, under the guidance that prioritizes equal protection of the law for every citizen, the prevention of wrongful convictions, and the conduct of trial in precise, correct and efficient manner to ensure fairness and justice in relation to offences and penalties to uphold the integrity of the courts, and she also stated that, in this training, the experienced law officers share legal knowledge with new law officers by conducting the Mock Trial as part of on-the-job training to familiarize them with the courtroom environment and to help them to perform their duties efficiently. Accordingly, the newly appointed law officers will be able to ensure effective and equal protection of the law for every citizen.
The period of On-the-Job Training Course No.1/2026 for law officer grade-4 (probation) is from 6 March 2026 to 29 April 2026.
