The Attorney General of the Union Receives Mr.Mark McDowell, the Head of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance

              H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, the Attorney General of the Union received a delegation led by Mr. Mark McDowell, the head of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance at the meeting room of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 10:00 a.m. on this morning.
In this meeting, they discussed the matters on which International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance continues to support and cooperate for the development of democratic system, the assistance of professional advice on legal affairs, including the constitution, the holding workshops relating to basic principles and procedures of federal system, the training relating to federal system and constitution of law officers from Legislative Vetting Department of the Union Attorney General’s Office, the holding meetings relating to the role of the Union Attorney General’s Office in federal system and so on.
Deputy Attorney General H.E. U Win Myint and Director General U Min Swe from the Union Attorney General’s Office also attended this meeting.
