U Win Myint, Deputy Attorney General receives H.E Mr. Vikram Misri, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar on behalf of the Attorney General of the Union

          U Win Myint, Deputy Attorney General received H.E Mr. Vikram Misri, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar on behalf of the Attorney General of the Union at the meeting hall of the union Attorney General’s office at 13:00 pm today.

          During the meeting, the Deputy Attorney General explained formations and functions of the Union Attorney General’s Office. Afterward, Indian Ambassador said that he thanked a lot for knowing the role of the Union Attorney General’s Office; he desired to cooperate legal affairs between Myanmar and India because of neighbouring and border countries; Indian government would send formal letter to the Union Attorney General’s Office for providing legal trainings; they desired to provide trainings that are beneficial to the Union Attorney General’s Office; the cooperations of legal affairs between both countries (Indian and Myanmar) would be continued to perform widely.
The Deputy Attorney General, the Permanent Secretary, a Director General and the Deputy Permanent Secretary also attended to the meeting.
