The Deputy Attorney General H.E. U Win Myint, on behalf of the Attorney General of the Union, received Ms. Jennifer Smith, Executive Director from Interhational Legal Foundation and delegation, in the Meeting Hall of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 10:00 a.m. this morning.
In the meeting, they discussed the matters that ILF is providing legal aids to the accused in Yangon and Mandalay, development of the fair tail in the prosecution processes, arrangement of necessary training for law officers, more cooperation in legal aids processes, laying down programmes in cooperation with the Union Attorney General’s Office.
The Permanent Secretary Daw Nu Nu Yin and Director U Aung Shan also attended this meeting.
