H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, the Attorney General of the Union received a delegation led by Mr. Sean Bain , Legal Consultant from International Commission of Jurist (ICJ) at the meeting hall of the Union Attorney General ‘s Office a t 3 :30 p.m. this evening.
In the meeting , they discussed friendly matters related to implementation of the Union Attorney General ‘s Office strategic plans for rule of law; publication of the Code of Ethics for Law Officers , Fair Trial Guidebook and Guideline on Scrutinizing the Contract ; cooperation in implementation of such processes ; performance s of publication of the Drafting Manual ; the activities of Rule of Law Centers and the sub-coordinating and coordinating body of Justice Sector ; developing the prosecution system with independence, impartiality , and respect the human rights.
The Permanent Secretary Daw Nu Nu Yin and Director General Dr. Thida Oo attened this meeting .
