H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, the Union Attorney General received the Australia Ambassador Mr. Nicholas Coppel in the International Call Chamber of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 11:30 am this morning.
During the meeting, they cordially discussed matters related to the success of Myanmar’s democracy transition processes, the protection of democratic norms and people’s basic rights, progress and improvement in the rule of law, cooperation between prosecuting bodies of the two countries for transnational crimes including drug cases, strengthening the independent judicial system, the process of human resources development and sending more scholars.
The Deputy Attorney General U Win Myint, Permanent Secretary Daw Nu Nu Yin and Director General Dr.Thida Oo attended this meeting.
