Attorney General of the Union receives Mr. Takashi YAMASHITA, Japanese Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Justice

H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, the Attorney General of the Union received Mr. Takashi YAMASHITA, Japanese Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Justice in the International Call Chamber of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 12:00 pm today.

During the  meeting, they cordially  and  openly  discussed  cooperation  between the Ministry of Justice of Japan and the Union Attorney General’s Office for the development of legal sectors, transformation of justice sectors, human resources development, programmes to be assisted in drafting business  laws including intellectual property rights laws, preparations for exchanging experience in the International Conference and Youth Forums on Combating Crimes which will be held in Japan, cooperation with Japan  International Cooperation  Agency  (JICA)  and sending scholars to Japan.

The Deputy Attorney General U Win Myint, Permanent Secretary Daw Nu Nu Yin and Director General Dr. Thida Oo attended this meeting.
