H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, the Attorney General of the Union received UNDP (Myanmar) Country Director Mr. Peter Batchelor and delegation at the International Call Chamber of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 10 a.m. this morning.
During the meeting, the work to be implemented in 2019 under the “Justice for the People” strategic plan (2019-2023) of the cooperation body of the Rule of Law Centre and Justice Sector, second stage programs to be carried out due to the first step that “Moving forward to the Rule of Law’: strategic plan of the Union Attorney General’s Office is ending in 2019, the work of the Rule of Law Centres opened by UNDP and IDLO, continuing cooperation for access to justice for all and improving the rule of law, and technical assistance of UNDP were discussed.
The Deputy Attorney General U Win Myint, Permanent Secretary Daw Nu Nu Yin and Director General Dr. Thida Oo also attended the meeting.
