H.E.U Tun Tun Oo, Attorney General of the Union, received H.E. Mr. Lee Sang-hwa, Ambassador of Korea and H.E. Mr. Daniel Patrick Chugg, Ambassador of Britain in the International Call Chamber of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 14:00 p.m. and 15:00 p.m. respectively.
In the meeting with Ambassador of Korea, they discussed the exchange of experience in setting up legal framework that can support flourishing democracy and economic development, dissemination of legal knowledge through Myanmar Law Information System joint-established by Ministry of Government Legislation (MOLEG) and Union Attorney General’s Office, and training to be conducted in Korea for Law Officers to take action against criminal offenders who commit crimes by utilizing technology.
In the meeting with the Ambassador of Britain, they discussed the establishment of Rule of Law Centers by concluding an agreement between Britain Embassy and International Law Organization (IDLO) and to assi.st in the tasks which take priority for the Union Attorney General’s Office .
Deputy Attorney General H.E . U Win Myint, Permanent Secretary Daw Nu Nu Yin, Director General Daw Khin Cho Ohn and Deputy Permanent Secretary Dr. Thi Thi Myint also attended these meetings.
