H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, the Attorney General of the Union, held a virtual meeting with the delegation led by Ms. Andrea Faulker, the ambassador of Australia, at 14:00 p.m. this afternoon.
During the meeting, they discussed about cooperation with local and international organizations for rule of law; the activities being carried out by the office of the Attorney General of the Union in relation to the anti-trafficking in person; the activities being carried out by the office of the Attorney General in relation to the amendment of laws related to Human Rights Protection; the support of Australia to Myanmar during COVID-19 contagious disease response period; and the activities to be carried out cooperatively for the development of legal sector.
H.E. U Win Myint, the Deputy Attorney General and Dr. Thida Oo, the Permanent Secretary also attended this meeting.
