The Myanmar delegation from the Union Attorney General’s Office and the Ministry of Home Affairs led by Dr. Thida 00, the Attorney General of the Union attended the 14th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice held at the Kyoto International Convention Center via video conferencing.
The Congress was attended by UN member states, observers, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and experts. They discussed challenges in criminal justice for socio-economic development and multi-pronged approach, efforts to improve the rule of law, cooperation between member states, and technical assistance in transnational cases such as violence, human trafficking and drug control.
