H.E. Dr. Thida 00, the Attorney General of the Union, delivered a speech at the coordination meeting on the implementation of Strategic Plan (2020-2024) of the Office of the Attorney General of the Union held at the meeting hall (ground floor) of the Office of the Attorney General of the Union at 1:00 p.m.
In the speech, the Attomey General of the Union said that “officials and staff of the Office of Attorney General of the Union perform their duties with a momentum; the launching ceremony of strategic plan (2020-2024) of the Office of the Attorney General of the Union was successfully held on 21.1.2021; vision, mission and mandate are specified in the strategic plan as well as strategic objectives, initiatives and action plans; this second strategic plan “providing legal service for justice” is developed based on the strengths and weaknesses of, and by taking into account the result of the survey on the implementation of the first strategic plan; the Code of Ethics for Law Officers, Fair Trial Standards, Legislative Drafting Guidance, Commercial Contract Guideline are published and uploaded on Myanmar Law Information System (MLIS) when implementing the first fiveyears strategic plan; 78 action plans including the plan for opening “Law Training School” which will disseminate legal knowledge for law officers, lawyers and persons who are interested in legal profession, will be implemented according to the second strategic plan; the Office of the Attorney General of the Union will collaborate with the Region and State Advocate General’s Offices, District Law Offices and Township Law Offices on the implementation of the strategic plan, the strategic plan will be a guidance on the ongoing working process of the Office of the Attorney General of the Union and various law offices”.
Then, U Sann Lwin, the Deputy Attorney General, Directors General, Deputy Directors General, Directors, Deputy Directors and participants discussed the matters on the implementation of the strategic plan.
At the end of the meeting, the Attorney General of the Union approved the plans and activities for the implementation of the strategic plan.
U Sann Lwin, the Deputy Attorney General, Directors General of the respective departments, Deputy Directors General, Directors, Deputy Directors and the members of Working Group for Strategic Plan also attended the meeting.
