A delegation led by H.E. U San Lwin, the Deputy Attorney General, the current Chairperson of the ASEAN Senior Law Officials Meeting (ASLOM), attended the Workshop on Disaster Management between ASAEN Sectoral Bodies and Entities Associated with ASEAN held in Jakarta, Indonesia on 2.6.2021 at 9:30 a.m. (Jakarta Time) via video conferencing.
At the workshop, the current Chairperson of the ASEAN Committee on Disaster Management delivered an opening speech. Then, representatives from the ASEAN sectoral bodies and entities associated with ASEAN mutually discussed the situations and outcomes of disaster Management in the ASEAN region; the role of the Joint Task Force on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (JTFHADR); implementation of disaster management activities and the matter for strengthening the ongoing processes of the JTF-HADR.
H.E. U San Lwin, the Deputy Attorney General, the Director General of the Legal Advice Department and law officers from the office of the Attorney General of the Union attended this workshop.
