The Opening Ceremony of the On-Job Training Course No.1/2023 for Law Officers Grade-4 (Probation) was held at the Ground Floor Meeting Hall of the Ministry of Legal Affairs this morning.
At the ceremony, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union Dr.Thida Oo said that the Ministry of Legal Affairs had implemented its Strategic Plan “Moving Forward to the Rule of Law”(2015-2019) and is also implementing its Strategic Plan(2020-2024) with the vision of “Providing Legal Service for Justice,”; the Ministry of Legal Affairs is providing various form of legal Service such as vetting and advising on draft laws, vetting and providing legal advice on international conventions and commercial contracts, conducting prosecution on behalf of the State; moreover, the Ministry of Legal Affairs has established the Myanmar Law Information System(MLlS) as part of its legal services; the necessary subjects including Laws, Rules, Office Manual and Prosecution Matters, Strategic Plan, Code of Ethics for Law Officers, Fair Trial Standards will be taught and we will also invite the expert form outside the Ministry and forensic doctors from Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in the training course; the trainees need to learn and note well during the training course and make an effort to become good Law Officers to provide legal services for public.
The Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, the responsible persons, trainers, and 100 trainees of Law Officers Grade-4 (Probation) attended the opening ceremony.
