The Attorney General of the Union H.E. U Htun Htun Oo received the delegation led by H.E .Mr. Chen Hai, Ambassador of the People ‘s Republic of the China to Myanmar at the International Call Chamber of the Union Attorney General ‘s Office at 11:00 a.m. this morning.
During the meeting, they discussed the role and functions of the Union Attorney General’s Office in legislative sector, activities in promoting rule of law and justice, peace conferences, bilateral cooperation between two countries’ legal institutions, scholarships, provision of necessary assistance for peace and development, enhancement of mutual cooperation between two countries’ Attorney General Offices, Chinese investments and plans for promotion of cooperation in the Belt and Road Initiative.
Permanent Secretary Daw Nu Nu Yin, Directors General Daw Khin Cho Ohn and Dr. Thida Oo also attended this meeting.
