Bar Council Meeting No. 2/2024 was held at the office of the Bar Council, Building No. (6) Nay Pyi Taw Sports Training Camp Cluster-I, Wanathidi Ward, Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw at 9:30 a.m in the morning.
In the meeting, the matter relating to getting the recommendation for the 216 high-grade pleaders who applied to be listed as advocates, the matter relating to taking action against 33 advocates who violated the ethics of advocates under section 10(1) of the Bar Council Act, the matter relating to the application of an advocate for the recommendation of good character to be appointed as a bank lawyer, the matter of opening a branch office of the Bar Council (Mandalay), the matter of the construction of the office building of the Bar Council (Nay Pyi Taw), the matter regarding the cover design and information to be included in the publication of the Bar Council Diary and Notebook for 2025, the matter of the transfer of the saving accounts SC-023614 and CB-04687, opened at Myanmar Economic Bank (Yangon), from Yangon to Nay Pyi Taw were discussed and determined.
Dr. T hida 00, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, the Chairman of the Bar Council, U Myo Tint, the Supreme Court Judge of the Union and the ViceChairman of the Bar Council, Dr. Htain Lin 00, the Deputy Minister and the Deputy Attorney General, and the members of the Bar Council, and the officials attended the meeting.
