The Union Attorney General U Tun Tun Oo received Dr. Mark West, the Country Director of Landesa Rural Development Institute and delegation in the international call chamber of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 10 a.m. this morn mg.
At the meeting, they frankly discussed the functions and duties of the Union Attorney General’s Office; projects relating to the rule of law and justice; measures for harmonizing in the implementation of the laws on land management; performances of drafting the National Land Law and improving the land management system; matters related to cooperation between the Union Attorney General’s Office and Land esa, and providing technical assistance in amending Myanmar land laws; conducting the workshops for ensuring to participate the relevant people, and receiving the suggestions from the p ubl ic in drafting the National Land Law .
The Deputy Attorney General U Win Myint, Permanent Secretary Daw Nu Nu Yin, Directors Daw Tint Tint Han and Daw Mi Thandar Myint also attended the meeting.
