Holding the Final Coordination Meeting for the Enactment of the Third Amending Law of the Civil Service Personnel Law (Draft)

The Final Coordination Meeting for the enactment of the Third Amending Law of the Civil Service Personal Law (Draft) was held in the Meeting Hall of the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw at 10:00 a.m. today.

The Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union of the Ministry of Legal Affairs H.E. Dr. Thida 00, the Chairperson of the Union Civil Service Board U Aung Thaw, members of the Union Civil Service Board U San Myint and Daw Khin Myo Myint , Director General of the Legislative Draft Vetting Department Dr. T hida San, Director General of the Civil Service Affairs Department U Zaw Moe Win, and the responsible persons attended the meeting.

In the meeting, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union delivered an opening speech; then, the Chairperson of the Union Civil Service Board U Aung Thaw said that, according to reviews of the Union Civil Service Board regarding training to improve the qualifications and ensure the correct mindset of Civil Service Personnel, it is required for Civil Service Personnel to attend the trainings prescribed by the Union Civil Service Board in accordance with their rank; moreover, those intended for promotion to Executive Level positions are necessary to attend the high level training course offered by other Ministries and organization to obtain the necessary administrative qualification for their rank; therefore, it is required to amend the Civil Service Personnel Law for the third time; enacting this Law will provide long-term benefits and stability to the Civil Service Personnel organization, and will link training and promotion; after that the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union H.E. Dr. Thida 00 discussed that the Third Amending Law of the Civil Service Personnel Law (Draft) is necessary to amend for the State and finalized the discussion on enacting the Law.
