Holding the Opening Ceremony of a Internship Course in Legal Studies for Law Students

The opening ceremony of a internship course in legal studies for law students was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry’s Office at the Ministry of Legal Affairs this morning.
At the ceremony, H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union said that this training is a practical course in legal studies to study the practical works for law students from Nay Pyi Taw State Academy; the responsible persons are implementing the Strategic Plan as the titles of “Moving Forwards To the Rule of Law” in 2015-2019, “Providing Legal Service for Justice” in 2020-2024,and “Building Legal Trust for the People” in 2025-2029 and the cooperation of the university is one action of plan the strategic plan of the Ministry of Legal Affairs; today is the new chapter for upgrading the standard of the legal profession among the legal advocacy works implementing by the Ministry of Legal Affairs; the responsible persons of the Ministry of Education offered to study the practical processes of the Ministry of Legal Affairs while the students of the Nay Pyi Taw State Academy is studying and this process is implanted; the officers of the Ministry’s Office and the four departments of the Ministry of Legal Affairs will teach the trainees about the practical activities for six weeks; although the trainees will not be able to understand the numerous works of the Ministry of Legal Affairs in a short period of time, the experiences gained from the course will support them in the field of their works such as judicial officers, law officers and lawyers etc. after graduating from the university and the trainees should hard study during the training period.
The Deputy Minister of the Minister of Legal Affairs and the Deputy Attorney General, Directors General, the responsible persons of the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Faculty of Law Professor (Department Head), responsible persons and law students of the Nay Pyi Taw State Academy attended the opening ceremony of a practical course in legal studies for law students.
