H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister of the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Attorney General of the Union, H.E. Dr. Htain Lin Oo, the Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General, the Directors General, the Deputy Permanent Secretary and responsible persons met with officers and staff who returned to office after Thingyan Holidays and delivered words of encouragement at the building porch of the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Office Building No. 25.
Firstly, H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union expressed her joy at seeing nearly all staff members returning to office in good health after Thingyan Holidays. She urged everyone to collaborate harmoniously to ensure smooth and efficient operations in their respective departments. She also thanked the staff for resuming their duties despite the challenges caused by the March 28 earthquake which damaged building and forced temporary relocations. She praised the unity and resilience of the Ministry in overcoming difficulties and quickly restoring office works. She said that arrangements have been made to facilitate the current food supply by distributing ready-to-eat rice boxes, which will be distributed until the end of this month. Rice, cooking oil, beans and cooking ingredients will be arranged to ease living conditions. She expressed her hope that difficulties can be successfully overcome through unity and cooperation, and inspected the works of various departments at the temporary office and fulfilled the submissions.
Then, she inspected the living conditions of the family members at the temporary gathering place for earthquake affected staff and their dependents in the Ministry of Legal Affairs compound and fulfilled their submissions along with words of encouragement.
