Holding the First Meeting of the Legal Translation Commission

         The first meeting of the legal Translation Commission in which the Attorney General of the Union serves as the chairman was held in the meeting hall of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 10:00 am here this morning.
H.E U Tun Tun Oo, the Attorney General of the Union, said that the legal translation commission comprising 15 members is formed by the president office on 16 March,2017 and the commission will have to translate the existing laws enacted in English into Myanmar, therefore; people can easily study law and it can greatly support the spread of legal awareness; publication of the translation commission can be used similar to the original text. And then, members of the commission discussed about designing work plans to be implemented, formation of working groups, working committee and staff office, appointment of necessary staff and financial matters.
