H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, the Attorney General of the Union received Ms. Mori Masako, the Minister of Justice, Japan and delegation in the meeting room of the Union Attorney General’s Office at 11 :00 a.m. this morning.
In the meeting , they openly discussed that Japan and Myanmar are closely cooperating with each other; the Union Attorney General’s Office and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has implemented the Capacity Development Project since 2013; the period of the project will be extended to March 2021; the project is very beneficial to the human resource development of the Union Attorney General’s Office; the Ministry of Justice, Japan is promoting the rule of law and protecting the fundamental human rights as well as the Union Attorney General’s Office conducts the rule of law and access to justice in priorities.
Directors General and Deputy Director s General from the Union Attorney General’s Office attended this meeting.
