          H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, the Attorney General of the Union, received a delegation led by Ms. Christine Schraner Burgener, UN Secretary General ‘s Special Envoy on Myanmar, at the meeting room of the Union Attorney General ‘s Office at 14:00 p.m. this afternoon.

        At the meeting, they discussed implementation of the recommendations made by the Independent Commission of Enquiry in its report; ongoing process of preparing third cycle Universal Periodic Review report; development in peace­ making process; submission of the Prevention of Violence Against Women bill to Hluttaw and the implementation process after the enactment of the Child Rights Law.

      H.E. U Win Myint, the Deputy Attorney General, Dr. Thida Oo, Permanent Secretary and Daw Khin Cho Ohn, Director General also attended this meeting.
