The Coordination Meeting concerning the Law Amending the Safeguard on Increased Imports Law (draft) was held in the meeting room of the Ministry of Legal Affairs at 10:00 a. m. this morning.
Discussion
The Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General, H.E. Dr. Htain Lin Oo, the Director General Dr. Thida San and responsible persons from the Ministry of Legal Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce attended the meeting. They made the final discussion on the Law Amending the Safeguard on Increased imports Law ( draft ) in accordance with the guidelines of the State Administration Council. During this discussion regarding whether the law should be enacted at the present time or not, it was finally discussed that the Safeguard on Increased Imports Law is required to add the necessary provisions to align with the current situations and the amending law should be enacted at the present time, and the sections to be amended were discussed.
