   The Ceremony of the third time paper reading session of the Legal Research Team was held at the ground floor meeting room in the Ministry of Legal Affairs this afternoon.

   At the ceremony, H.E. Dr. T hida 00, the Union Minister of the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Attorney General of the Union said that the Ministry of Legal Affairs formed the Legal Research Division and has enhanced the legal research work in order to develop the legal research process in Myanmar, undertake the necessary legal research for the long-term development of the activities of the Ministry and implement successfully the Strategic Plan in relation to the legal research works, the research teams of the Ministry of Legal Affairs have written 12 papers in 2022, each of the six research working teams read their paper in turn and that paper reading session is held for the third time, the purposes of that paper reading session are to improve the legal knowledge of the officers serving in the Office of the Advocate General of the Region or State and various levels of Law Offices, enhance their capacities and work performance, gain their experience in the session and exchange their views on legal knowledge, she expects that their experience and knowledge will be broadened by doing so, she urges that legal research officers should try their best to undertake legal research in cooperation with local and international organizations and she also believes that they can make better contribution to their respective departments with the knowledge they have gained.

   Legal Research Team No.5 reads the paper titled on “Comparative Study of Prosecution Systems between Singapore and Myanmar in the session.

   The Directors General and Officers from the Ministry of Legal Affairs attended the ceremony and the Officers from the office of the Advocate General of Region or State attended the ceremony through Online.
