The second meeting of the Bar Council (2/2020) was held by video conferencing at 10:00 a.m. this morning. All members of the Bar Council presented, and the Chairperson of the Bar Council, the Union Attorney General U Tun Tun Oo, delivered a speech at the meeting.
During the meeting, they discussed matters related to scrutinizing and approving 156 applicants to be listed as advocates, discussing to investigate on the complaint against seven advocates by the Bar Council Tribunal, approving to send the list of members of the Tribunal who will investigate to the Supreme Court of the Union, and the matters requested to give opinion by the Supreme Court of the Union to take action against three advocates, and the meeting was ended at 15:30 p.m.
