The closing ceremony of legal advocacy training course No.3 for the heads of civil service organizations was held at the ground floor meeting room in the Ministry of Legal Affairs this morning.
At the closing ceremony, H.E. Dr. Thida Oo, the Union Minister of the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Attorney General of the Union said that this course was opened under the guidance of the Chairman of the State Administration Council to raise legal awareness for the heads of civil service organizations and to give the Certificate of Legal Advocacy ( CLA ) to them;
The total of 37 trainees: Directors General and Deputy Directors General who are the heads of civil service, legal advisors , legal experts from each ministry were attended in this course and the Certificate of Legal Advocacy ( CLA) will be given to the trainees who attended and completed the course;
Subjects of the departments of the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Constitutional Law, International and ASEAN Law , Scrutiny of Commercial Contracts , Legislative Drafting, giving general legal advice, Criminal and Special Laws and Civil Law were addressed in this course and these subjects were useful for trainees, the course trainers were the chairperson and the members of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, the Union Minister of the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Attorney General of the Union, the chairperson and the members of the Union Civil Service Board, the Judge of the Supreme Court of the Union, the member of the Anti-Corruption Commission and the subject experts of the Financial Intelligence Unit(FIU) , the Advocates General of Sagaing, Ayeyarwady , Tanintharyi Regions and Rakhine State, retired legal experts of the Ministry of Legal Affairs and legal experts of the Ministry of Legal Affairs who are well-experienced in legal matters.
According to the feedback of the trainees , she was very glad to hear that all trainees gained the effective legal knowledge from this course; the progress report of the training would be submitted to the State Administration Council and kept the record in the Ministry of Legal Affairs; she believes that all trainees will apply the knowledge gained from the course to their workplace for the effective performance of their functions and duties of the Ministries.
The Union Minister of the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Attorney General of the Union , the Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General, the chairperson and the member of the Anti – Corruption Commission, the members of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, the member of Union Civil Service Board, the trainers, the responsible persons and trainees such as Directors General, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Commanders , Deputy Directors Genearal, Associate Professors, Chief Engineers, General Managers attended the closing ceremony.
