H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, the Attorney General of the Union, received Mr. Benedike Hofmann and delegation, the Country Manager of UNODC in the meeting hall of the Office of the Attorney General of the Union at 11:30 a.m. this morning.
At the meeting, they discussed the works of the Office of the Attorney General of the Union in the rule of law and justice; legal advice and prosecution; joint projects with international partner organizations; cooperation between the Office of the Attorney General of the Union and UNODC since 2014; future plans which cooperate with UNODC in the post COVID-19; and the work areas to be supported by UNODC in the Strategic Plan “Providing Legal Service for Justice (2020-2024)” of the Office of the Attorney General of the Union.
The Deputy Attorney General U Win Myint, and the Permanent Secretary Dr. Thida Oo also attended this meeting.
