Holding the 2026 Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremony at the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Observing the Sale of Basic Commodities at Affordable Prices at the Staff Welfare Shop

The 2026 Monsoon Tree Planting ceremony of the Ministry of Legal Affairs was held along the right-side Lane of the entrance to the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Office No, (25) this morning to promote a green environment and preserve the natural environment in Nay Pyi Taw. And H.E.Dr.Thida Oo, the Union Minister of the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Attorney General of the Union planted a Padauk sapling, H.E.Dr. Htain Lin Oo, the Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General planted a Kantkaw sapling, and the Permanent Secretary and Directors-General planted Padauk saplings.

Then, the Union Minister of the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Attorney General of the Union and her team observed and supported the officials and staff who were planting the Padauk, Kantkaw and Teak saplings at the designated locations. A total of 200 shade trees were planted during the Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremony of the Ministry of Legal Affairs this year.

Afterwards, the Union Minister and Attorney General of the Union, the Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General, the Permanent Secretary and Directors-General of the Departments observed the sale of basic commodities procured from the relevant ministries at competitive prices, to officials and staff at affordable rates at the Staff Welfare Shop of the Ministry of Legal Affairs. They also distributed fresh eggs free of charge to officials and staff.
