H.E. U Tun Tun Oo, Attorney General of the Union received the delegation led by H.E. Mr. Hiromy, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Justice from Japan at the lnternational Call Chamber Room of the Office at 2:00 pm this afternoon.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of cooperation between Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Union Attorney General’s Office on the Capacity Development Project from 2013 to 2018 under the Record of Discussion (ROD); performing activities with attached of three experts from JICA at the UAGO during the project; providing assistance in drafting of commercial laws such as IP Law, Security Exchange Law and Company Law, in the implementation of Strategic Plan of UAGO and giving lecture in recruitment and refresher training; sending scholars with the assistance of JICA and further cooperation for the development of legal sector in Myanmar.
